What to have before arrival.

1.    Royal Canin dog food Baby dog if your "yorkie puppy" is 2 lbs at 12 weeks of age if over 2 lbs then place on  Mini puppy

2.     NutriCal Vitamin supplement( in tube form) one pea size on tongue each morning and night for  10 days. Then only at night for one more week. Nutri cal is a high calorie dietary supplement. It will help balance you puppies blood sugar level in time of high stress such as over physical play travel etc. The puppy is not to be raised on it it can be addictive and he/she might lose a likening to their dry dog food.

3.    Doggie bed. Take with you any time you travel! I have noticed that our puppy seem to prefer the style of doggie bed that are like bean bags fluffy and round and the puppy is raised off the round free from cold drafts which they seem to enjoy

4.    Puppy pads. (Use in a confined area such as half bath.)

5.    Make a vet appointment with in 72 hours upon puppy’s arrival. 

What to do upon arrival

1. Call Airline one hour before arrival to confirm that flight is on time (give conformation #).

2. Bring bottled water and offer to puppy after arrival. if breeder provided fresh Bil- Jack you will find on the top of carrier in packet. Open and give 1/2 of bag, save rest for next meal ( this food must be refrigerated ) do not feed dry Royal Canin Mini puppy formula till you get home

3.Give Nutra Cal ( size of large pea) to puppy on his tongue at this time. Then give twice a day morning and at bedtime for two weeks then for one week at bed time only.

4. Make sure you pull off Health record and shot record from side of pet taxi and take to vet appointment.

5. Give puppy food and water when at home and free feed (leave access to food at all times) for 2 – 4 days if your puppy is 2 1/2 - 3 lbs . If your" Yorkie puppy" is less than 2 1/2 lbs at 12 weeks free feed for one  whole month then place on schedule fond on back of Royal Canin feed bag.

6. When you take puppy to vet KEEP IN CARRIER AT ALL TIMES. UPON ARRIVAL AND AFTER  ( the deadly parvo virus is passed form one to another by peoples foot ware like shoes boots etc! ) Do not let puppy come in contact with other dogs. Remember when a puppy gets a shot  their bodies will need up to 10 days to build up immunity for that particular disease   please keep your puppy indoors with no visitors for at least 10 days!

7. Do not take puppy out in public for up to one week allow to adjust to new home environment.
